Advanced > Include
Entity names derived from IDs
Exports entities that are assigned auto-generated names based on their IDs.
intf_out_assign_names
Over-ride with explicit user defined names
Is available when Entity names derived from IDs is selected.
Exports entities assigned with user-defined names instead of the auto-generated names based on their IDs.
Advanced > Geometry and entity preferences
Export solids and quilts as
Surfaces* As Is, Quilts, Wireframe, Surfaces and Wireframe
Specifies the geometric representation of the exported solids and quilts.
Export all surfaces as free-form
Is selected by default when the iges_out_all_srfs_as configuration option is set to 128 (b-splines) or 114 (splines).
Surfaces are exported as free-form surfaces.
iges_out_all_srfs_as
Free-form surface type
b-spline*, spline
Select Export all surfaces as free-form to set Free-form surface type as spline.
Specifies the surface type as b-spline or spline.
Convert spline surfaces to b-spline surfaces
Is not available when Export all surfaces as free-form is selected.
Exports spline surfaces as b-spline surfaces.
iges_out_spl_srfs_as_128
Match geometric to topological normals
Forces the geometrical normals of the exported free-form surfaces to point in a consistent direction so that they match the topological normals.
intf3d_out_force_surf_normals
Maximum surface deviation
–1.000000
Specifies the accuracy needed for surface approximation when converting surfaces to free-form surfaces.
intf3d_out_surface_deviation
Raise free-form surface degree
Raises the surface degree for approximating free-form surfaces as bezier patches.
intf_out_as_bezier
Maximum free-form surface degree
5 to 16 with 16 as the default.
Is available when you select Raise free-form surface degree.
The maximum degree that can be used when approximating b-spline surfaces.
intf_out_max_bspl_degree
Extend surface boundaries
Is selected by default.
Extends the domains of surfaces until the surfaces intersect.
intf3d_out_extend_surface
Export face as
Trimmed*, Bounded
Is available only when Export solids and quilts as is set to Surfaces, Wireframe, Surfaces and Wireframe.
Specifies the representation of the exported faces.
iges_out_trm_srfs_as_143
XYZ trimming curves
Is selected by default.
This option is not available when Export face as is set as Bounded.
Includes XYZ representations of the surface trimming curves when faces are exported as trimmed representations.
iges_out_trim_xyz
Export all curves as b-spline
Exports trimming and datum curves as b-splines.
iges_out_ent_as_bspline
Convert spline curves to b-spline curves
Is selected by default. This option is not available when Export all curves as b-spline is selected.
Exports spline curves as b-spline curves.

Advanced > Layer preferences
Generate automatic layer IDs
Automatically assigns layer IDs to layers without explicitly defined IDs.
intf_out_auto_layer_ids
Map numeric layer names to layer IDs
Is selected by default.
Uses the numeric names as the layer IDs when layers have numeric names.
intf3d_out_use_num_names
