To Export to a CGM File
1. In an open drawing, click
File >
Save As >
Save a Copy. The
Save a Copy dialog box opens.
2. Select CGM (*.cgm) in the Type box. The drawing name without the extension appears in the New file name box.
3. Accept the default name or type a new name in the File name box.
4. Click OK. The Export CGM dialog box opens.
5. Under Metafile in, select Abstract coordinates or Metric coordinates.
6. Under File structure, select CLEARTEXT (ASCII file) or MILSPEC (binary file).
7. Click OK in the Export CGM dialog box.
