Mapping ASME and ISO Fonts of Symbols to AutoCAD GDT Fonts
When you export drawings to DXF and DWG file formats, you can map the special characters of the symbol fonts of type ASME and ISO to the AutoCAD GDT font. Performing this mapping during the export of drawings to DXF and DWG file formats ensures that special characters appear correctly after the export.
You can click the Properties tab of the Export Environment for DXF or the Export Environment for DWG dialog box and map the ASME and ISO font types listed under Text Fonts to the corresponding AutoCAD GDT font. The special characters of the ASME and ISO symbol fonts that do not have the corresponding characters in the GDT font are exported as stroked text.
