To Export a Drawing, Part, or Assembly to Creo View
1. Click
File >
Save As >
Save a Copy. The
Save a Copy dialog box opens.
2. Select one of the following Creo View file types in the Type box:
◦ Creo View (*.ed)
◦ Creo View (*.edz)
◦ Creo View (*.pvs)
◦ Creo View (*.pvz)
3. Accept the default model or drawing name in File name or type a new name.
4. If you want to customize the export of a part or assembly model to Creo View, click Options. The Creo View Export Profile Settings profile editor opens.
5. Click Load Profile and select a stored Creo View export profile from the profiles directory or customize the export settings in the Creo View Export Profile Settings profile editor.
6. Click OK in the Creo View Export Profile Settings profile editor.
7. Click OK in the Save a Copy dialog box. The file is exported to the selected Creo View file type. Part and assembly models are exported using the Creo View export profile options.
