To Create a UV-Curve by Projection
1. Select a surface in the graphics window or on the GTS tree, to project the curve.
2. Click the arrow next to UV-Curves on the Create tab and click UV-Curve by Projection. The UV-Curve By Projection tab opens and the selected surface is added to the Surface collector on the tab.
3. To remove the surface, right-click the surface in the Surface collector and click Remove on the shortcut menu.
4. Select a curve or edge in the graphics window or on the GTS Tree, to be projected. The selected curve appears in the Chains collector.
 
Hold down the CTRL key to select more than one curve.
To remove the curve or edge, right-click the curve or edge in the Chains collector and click Remove on the shortcut menu.
5. To project the curve normal to the selected surface, set Direction to Normal to surface.
6. Alternatively, to project the curve along a specified direction, set Direction to Along direction and select a direction reference such as an edge or curve. The selected reference is added to the direction reference collector.
7. Click on the UV-Curve By Projection tab to project the curve on the selected surface.
