About Exporting non-Creo Models to Other File Formats
You can open Autodesk Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo Elements/Direct*.sdpc and *.sdac content files, or NX part and assembly models in Creo and use the File > Save As > Save a Copy command to save the opened part and assembly models to the following formats:
Other supported non-Creo file formats
Creo.prt or .asm files
You can select a supported file format in the Save a Copy dialog box to export Autodesk Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo Elements/Direct*.sdpc and *.sdac, or NX part and assembly models to the selected format, just as you save Creo models to the selected file format. The export of the models to the selected file format creates non-Creo models that are similar to the models created by the export of the corresponding Creo models or Translated Image Models (TIMs).

* Do not select file formats that are the same as the formats of the models that you are about to export. You must also make sure that the exported models do not overwrite the original non-Creo or Creo Elements/Direct models selected for export.
Creo warns you when the destination folder you specify in the Save a Copy dialog box contains the non-Creo models or the Creo Elements/Direct*.sdpc or *.sdac content files selected for export or their components. You must then specify alternate file names or different destination folders.
