To Update a CDRS IN Feature in 2000i or 2000i2
1. Rename the new version of the Neutral file to the exact name of the original Neutral file including the file version extension.

* As a best practice, rename the Neutral file to remove the file version extension (that is, rename block1.neu.3 to block1.neu) before the initial import of the Neutral file. This way, if the original Neutral file is lost or deleted, you do not have to remember the original extension of the file to update the CDRS IN feature. You only need to rename the new file without its file extension.
2. Replace the original Neutral file in the original import directory with an updated version of the file of the same name. If the original Neutral file or the import directory does not exist or is not accessible, place the updated Neutral file with the same name as the original Neutral file in the current working directory of Creo Parametric.
3. Retrieve the model with the CDRS IN Feature from disk. If the reference Neutral file has changed, a message states that the CDRS IN Feature is out-of-date. It asks you to regenerate the part with the CDRS IN Feature.

* If a new version of the Neutral file is available with the reference model still in session,
Save the model with the CDRS IN Feature.
Click File > Manage Session > Erase Current or exit Creo Parametric to erase the .prt file from memory.
Retrieve the model from disk.
4. Click Model > Regenerate > Regenerate. A message asks you to confirm if you want to update the CDRS IN Feature to the current state.
5. Click Confirm. If the part is up-to-date, a message states that the part does not require regeneration.
