To Assemble a Symbolic Representation of a Component
1. In an open assembly, click
. The
Open dialog box opens.
2. Select a component.
3. Click the arrow next to Open and click Open Representation. The Open Rep dialog box opens.
4. Select Symbolic Rep and then click OK. The Symbolic Component dialog box opens to the Attachment tab.
5. Specify the Origin, Annotation Plane, and Orientation Reference to place the symbol.
6. Click the Symbol tab and select a symbol from the Symbol Instance list. The selected symbol is displayed in the graphics window.
7. Click OK.
