To Import a Drawing into a Notebook

Assembly Design > Top Down Design > Notebooks > Preparing Notebooks > To Import a Drawing into a Notebook

1. Open an empty notebook file.

2. Click Layout >

Import Drawing/Data. The Open dialog box opens.

3. Select the file to import and click Open.

Imported geometry is not updated when the original file is updated. A notebook is nonparametric and does not maintain a link to the original file.
