To Display Assembly Information
1. To display model, feature, or reference information the for top level assembly or a component, select it in the Model Tree, right-click, and do one of the following:
Click Information > Model. Information for the model displays in the browser.
Click Information > Feature. Information for the component features displays in the browser.
Click Information > Reference Viewer. The Reference Viewer dialog box opens.
2. To display assembly information click Tools and one of the following commands:
Bill of Materials—Generates a Bill of Materials.
Model Player—Opens the Model Player dialog box. Use the Model Player to step through the regeneration process.
Component—Opens the Component Constraint Information dialog box. Select a component to display placement constraints.
Model—Opens the Model Info dialog box. Select an option Top Level, Subassembly, Part, or Skeleton and click Apply. You are prompted to select a subassembly, part, or skeleton model. Select the model and the information is displayed in the browser window.
Feature—Prompts you to select a feature. Select the feature and the information is displayed in the browser window.
Reference Viewer—Opens the Reference Viewer dialog box.
Geometry Checks—Opens the Troubleshooter dialog box to investigate geometry errors.
Message Log—Opens the Message Log dialog box to view old messages.
Compare Assembly—Opens the Comparison Options dialog box.
Investigate > File History—Opens the File Modification History for the model.
Investigate > Import Log File—Opens the Import Log File dialog box.
Investigate > View Changes—Opens the View Changes dialog box. Changes to the assembly and components are highlighted in the tree.
Investigate > Feature List—Opens the Feature List dialog box. Select an option Top Level, Subassembly, Part, or Skeleton and click Apply. You are prompted to select a subassembly, part, or skeleton model. Select the model and the list of features in the model is displayed in the browser window.
