Selecting Components for Custom Retrieval
Use the Retrieval Customization dialog box to select the assembly components to retrieve. Initially all components are set to excluded. The top level assembly is selected by default. Use the smart filters to quickly select components to retrieve.
You can select components using the methods below. Press CTRL to select more than one component.
Click the check box next to the component name in the Component Chooser Tree.
Select a component in the Component Chooser preview window.
Define a frame in the preview window to select components that are inside the frame. You can select only the components at the forefront of the frame, or internal components in the frame.
Select only external components.
Select only internal components.
Select components by size, relative to the overall size of the assembly.
