To Create a Bulk Item Template
You can create a bulk item template consisting of commonly used parameter information.
1. Click
. The
New dialog box opens with
Part selected by default.
2. Click Bulk for the Sub-type.
3. Type a file name for the bulk model or use the default file name. Use Default Template is selected by default.
4. Click OK. The Relations dialog box opens. The Local Parameters display.
The BOM_REPORT_QUANTITY parameter is created by default as the first parameter. This is the quantity of the bulk item in the assembly.
5. Click the Family Table button to define family table instances for the bulk item.
6. Click Properties to edit properties for the selected parameter.
7. Add or modify bulk item parameters and relations.
8. Click File > Save.
9. Click OK.
