To Set the Active Material for Components
1. To access the Material box, follow either of the methods below:
◦ Click Framework > New Profile. The New Profile dialog box opens.
◦ Click Framework and then click New Connector Element or click New Equipment Element. The New Component dialog box opens or the Element Definition dialog box opens first, and then after making your selections, the New Component dialog box opens.
2. Set the Creo Advanced Framework configuration option, MAT_FILE_DIRECTORY, to point to your own material file directory. This ensures your materials are in the list of materials.
3. In the Material box, select a material. To use the default material, select AFX default material.
