About the Curve from Equation User Interface
The Curve from Equation user interface consists of commands, tabs, the Equation dialog box, and shortcut menus. Click > > > to open the Curve From Equation tab.
Commands
• Coordinate System
◦ Coordinate system list—Defines the coordinate system type as Cartesian, Cylindrical, or Spherical.
• Equation
◦ Edit—Opens the
Equation dialog box.
• Range
◦ From—Sets a value for the lower limit of the independent variable range.
◦ To—Sets a value for the upper limit of the independent variable range.
Tabs
• Reference
◦ Coordinate system collector—Displays the datum coordinate system or intent datum coordinate system that represents the zero point of the equation.
• Properties
◦ Name box—Sets a name for a feature.
◦ —Displays detailed component information in a browser.
Equation Dialog Box
The Equation dialog box is similar to the Relations dialog box. For more information about equation format, click > in the Equation dialog box, or refer to the Fundamentals functional area of the Help Center.
Shortcut Menus
Right-click the graphics window to access shortcut menu commands.
• Define Equation—Opens the Equation dialog box.
