Constraints in Creo Simulation Live
There are constraints that free up specific degrees of freedom that are described by what occurs in the real world.
User Interface Location: Click Live Simulation and then click Cylindrical, Ball, or Planar.
Release: Creo 7.0.0.0

What is the benefit of this enhancement?
In earlier releases, it is difficult with displacement and with frictionless constraints, to create the type of boundary condition that you want. In Creo Simulation Live 7.0, the following constraints make it easier to create the boundary condition that you require:
Cylindrical—Radial motion is constrained. Rotational and axial motion on a selected face is available.
Ball—Radial motion is constrained. Rotational motion on a selected spherical face is available.
Planar—Motion normal to the surface on a selected face is constrained.
