Result Options—Creo Simulation Live
Simulation results appear as a fringe plot on the model in the graphics window. The legend displays the result quantity and the variation between the minimum and maximum values. For a structural simulation you can view animated results. Click Live Simulation > Animate Deformation to start or stop displaying an animated view of how the model deforms when subject to loads and constraints.
To change the animation options, click the arrow next to Animate Deformation and then click Animation Options. The Animation Options dialog box opens. It has the following Deformation Options:
—Switches to displaying the deformation result and animates it.
—Stops animation of the deformed result.
—Toggles the display of color bands in the animated result. When on, color bands are displayed. When off, the model is displayed grey.
—Toggles the animation of the color bands in deformation results display. When on, the bands change throughout the deformation, from all blue initially, to their final values at the peak displacement. When off, the final bands are maintained throughout the deformation.
Speed—Varies the speed of the animation.
Scale—Varies the scale of the animation.
True deformations—Sets true deformation. The deformation is not scaled. When you select this check box the animation appears without scaling. In this case the value of scale does not have any effect on the displayed deformation.
