To Construct a Full Geometry Model from the Optimization Study Results
1. Click Results, click the arrow in the New Model group, and click Geometry Reconstruction. The Reconstruction Options dialog box opens.
2. To select the level of resolution in the reconstructed model, next to Resolution Level, click an option. A higher level of resolution creates geometry that is closer to the underlying facets, but the reconstruction is slower.
—No level of resolution.
—Level 1, low resolution
—Level 2, medium resolution
—Level 3, high resolution
3. If you select , , or , select an option:
To subdivide the reconstructed optimized model according to the selected level of resolution, select the Subdivide the reconstructed shape check box.
To reconstruct the model without subdividing it to the selected level of resolution, clear the Subdivide the reconstructed shape check box.
4. A new full geometry model opens in a separate window. The following features appear in the Model Tree:
Neutral feature—Independent geometry copied from the excluded regions that were not optimized.
Facet feature—Constructed from the optimized regions of the study results.
Freestyle feature—Constructed from the optimized regions of the study results.
You can edit the Freestyle feature. For more information about working with Freestyle, see topics in the Creo Freestyle Help.
Solidify feature—The Freestyle features is solidified.
