• When you hold down the CTRL key and double-click an item, this selects it or removes it from the selection and activates the Edit mode. You can change dimension values and properties for the selected items.
• When you edit more than one feature, only feature-level dimensions appear. To edit sketch level dimensions, select the sketch. Feature dimensions are also available in this case.

• When you select more than one feature to edit, only feature-level dimensions are available. • In Assembly mode, click > Tree Filters. The Model Tree Items dialog box opens. Under Display, click the Features check box to display features in the Model Tree. • You can select Features from the selection filter. • If you select a copied dependent feature containing a section, then Copied Feature > Make Section Independent appears in the shortcut menu. You must make the section independent before you can edit the section. |
• You can change the value of the selected dimension from the Nominal Value box in the Properties tab. • When Decimal is selected, the default number of decimal places for dimensions is two. To increase the precision, type a value in the Decimal Places box. You can also change the number of decimal places using the configuration option default_dec_places. • When Fractional is selected, you can set the denominator. The denominator that you set overrides any value set with the configuration option dim_fraction_denominator. • To turn on Tolerance mode, click File > Options > Entity Display and select the Show dimension tolerances check box. You can then set the tolerance mode in the Properties tab. You can also set tolerances to display by setting the tol_display configuration option to yes. |
• Use Flip Arrows to toggle the display of arrowheads between inside and outside the dimension extension lines. • On the Display tab, you can add text to a dimension value (such as diameter, ref, or type ) and special symbols. Type @D at the point in your text where you want the dimension to display. |
If the dimension is dependent, the command Make Dimension Independent appears in the shortcut menu. Click Make Dimension Independent to make the dimension independent. |
