Repeat P-Loop Convergence
Use this option if you want to change the shape of your model considerably in the sensitivity or optimization study.
At the first interval of a global sensitivity study using multi-pass adaptive convergence, Creo Simulate analyzes each element edge by repeating its calculations at successively higher polynomial orders until reaching either convergence or the maximum polynomial order of nine, whichever comes first.
Creo Simulate calculates values at the remaining intervals differently depending on whether or not you select this option:
If Repeat P-Loop Convergence is off, Creo Simulate calculates values at each remaining interval at the polynomial order it used to reach convergence for the first interval. This method cuts down on calculation time but may not fully capture your model's changes.
If Repeat P-Loop Convergence is on, Creo Simulate starts its calculations over again at each interval until reaching convergence or the maximum polynomial order. This is important if you want to significantly change your model's shape, since the polynomial order required to reach convergence at later intervals may change.
