The Orientation Dialog Box
Click View > Orientation > Spin/Pan/Zoom in the result window to open the Orientation dialog box that allows you to position the results in the active result window using different commands. The following commands are available in the Orientation dialog box:
Fixed Views—Orients the selected result window to one of the existing views —isometric, trimetric, front, left, top, back, right, or bottom. The default fixed view is trimetric.
Pan—Changes the location of the model relative to the display window by moving the frame of reference horizontally or vertically. The Pan area contains the following items:
H (horizontal setting)—Use the slider or counter to move the frame of reference to the left or right.
V (vertical setting)—Use the slider or counter to move the frame of reference in the upward or downward directions.
If you specify a value of 0 for both the horizontal and vertical counter, or place both the sliders at the central position, then the model is positioned at the center of the display window.
Zoom—Changes the magnification of the displayed model. Use the slider or the counter to change the magnification of the model.
Refit—Positions the model on the screen so that the entire model is visible on the screen. A refitted model occupies 80% of the screen.
Center—Positions the model at the center of the display window.
Spin—Moves the model about the spin center.
—Spins the model about its spin center. Move the slider or the counters to adjust the spin around the X-, Y- or Z- axes.
—Spins the model about the screen center. Move the slider or the counters to adjust the spin around the screen horizontal (H), screen vertical (V) or normal-to-screen (Z) axis.
