Defining Graph along Reference Planes for Cutting or Capping Surfaces
Use the Cutting Plane Edges option under Graph Location area in the Quantity tab to select specific plane edges along cutting or capping surfaces for your graph result window display.
To create a graph along Cutting Plane Edges, you have to define a fringe result window with a cutting or capping surface along a reference plane and then define a graph result window to create a graph plot with cutting plane edges.
When you define a graph result window, select the Cutting Plane Edges option under Graph Location area and use the selection arrow to select the points in the fringe plot on the plane edges along cutting or capping surfaces for the graph result window display. To plot the graph, select a start and an end point on the cutting plane edge in the fringe plot.
After you select the points, the selected edge is highlighted between the start and end point and then Creo Simulate prompts you to either accept or change the highlighted selection. After you confirm your selection, the start point is highlighted and Creo Simulate prompts you to either accept or change the highlighted start point.
After you confirm the selection of points in the fringe plot, you can display the graph along reference planes for cutting or capping surfaces from the graph result window. Note that, Creo Simulate does not update the graph automatically, if the defined cutting or capping surface is edited after the graph is created.

* The model in the fringe result window is available for selection from the graph result window only if
it contains a cutting or capping surfaces,
it should not contain isosurfaces, and
the graph and fringe result windows share the same study directory.
Once you have evaluated your results, you should save the result definitions for later use. At this point, you can also generate reports on your results.
