Thermal Values for Transversely Isotropic Properties
Click Thermal to specify the following transversely isotropic material properties:
Specific Heat Capacity—Defines the specific heat of the material. Type a positive value.
Thermal Conductivity—Type positive values for k1 and k2=k3. These values represent the conductivity in each of the three principal directions of the material.
To specify these values of thermal conductivity, you can perform one of the following tasks:
type a constant value
right-click and select Function to define thermal conductivity as a function of temperature
right-click and select Parameter to assign a parameter name.
Return to Transversely Isotropic.
