Thermal Values for Orthotropic Properties
Click Thermal to specify the following orthotropic material properties:
Specific Heat Capacity—Defines the specific heat of the material. Type a positive value.
Thermal Conductivity—Defines the thermal conductivity of the material. Type positive values for k1, k2, and k3. These values represent the conductivity in each of the three principal directions of the material.
To specify these values for thermal conductivity, you can perform one of the following tasks:
type a constant value
right-click and select Function to define thermal conductivity as a function of temperature
right-click and select Parameter to assign a parameter name.
Return to Orthotropic.
