Limit Polynomial Order for Excluded Element
Select the Polynomial Order check box under Limit on the Excluded Elements tab of the analysis definition dialog box, if you want Creo Simulate to stop calculations in excluded elements at a lower p-order than for the rest of the model.
Enter a p-order within the range you set when you entered minimum and maximum polynomial orders for the analysis.
If you select Polynomial Order, Creo Simulate limits the polynomial order for all edges of the excluded elements, including those edges shared by adjacent elements. This may affect results in the adjacent elements.
If you do not limit the p-order of an excluded element, Creo Simulate still skips the element for measure calculations, and the analysis converges when all the non-excluded elements converge.
