When you choose Automatic from the ADD POINTS menu, the system generates the first slice in the middle of the sphere. The number of Measured points in the slice is defined by the combination of the MAX_DIST_BTWN_PNTS and MIN_DIST_BTWN_PNTS parameters. If NUMBER_SLICES is greater than 1, the system generates the rest of the slices at OFFSET_BTWN_SLICES distance from the previous slice.
