To Customize the Display of Geometric Entities
1. Click File > Options. The Creo Direct Options dialog box opens.
2. Click Entity Display. The customization options appear.
3. In the Geometry display settings area, select a display setting:
Select a default style for geometry display. You can also use the Graphics toolbar.
Change the quality of edges.
Change the line style for edges created by two tangent surfaces.
Change Anti-Aliasing value or switch it off. Higher anti-aliasing values make the display quality of edges, curves, and datums smoother in the graphics window. Increasing Anti-Aliasing value from 2 X to 8 X improves the display quality of geometric entities.

* In large assemblies, use smaller values for anti-aliasing or completely switch it off to avoid impacting graphic performance of the system.
Display the colors assigned to a model surface.
Display smooth surfaces. That is, display all nonvertical and nonhorizontal lines using antialiasing techniques.
4. In the Datum display settings area, select or clear the datum entities and the entity names to display.
5. In the Dimensions, annotations, notes and reference designators display settings area, specify whether to display note names instead of note text when inserting notes.
6. In the Assembly display settings area, select the following settings:
Select the Animate during component placement check box to animate the placement (position) of a component between start and end points. You can also set the time it takes the component to re-position.

* Clear the Animate during component placement check box to instantly reposition the component within the assembly.
To display component interference in cross sections by default, select the corresponding check box, or
Set the following configuration option in config.pro file in your working directory:
show_interference_in_sections yes

In an assembly, when you create or edit cross sections, Creo Direct does not show component interference by default.
Showing component interference may impact the graphics performance of the system.
7. Select or clear the check boxes to display sketch names and welds when creating the entities.
8. Click OK.
