Conflicts in Pro/INTRALINK
When you attempt to modify an object, the system may present you with the Conflicts dialog box. The following table lists the conflict types, describes the reasons for the conflicts, and suggests remedial actions.
Conflict Type
Reason for the Conflict
Retrieval
The object that you retrieved had a read-only or an error status. When you opened the object, the Creo application automatically modified it.
Action you can take:
Continue.
The object that you retrieved had a Modify With Warning status or had an object application behavior of warning. When you opened the object, the Creo application automatically modified it.
Action you can take:
Continue.
Modification
The object that you are trying to modify has a Read Only status or the object has the implied application behavior of error.
Action you can take:
None. You cannot modify this object
The object that you are attempting to modify has a Modify With Warning status or has the object application behavior of warning.
Actions you can take:
Continue.
Check out the entire family table when the object is generic (this action is recommended when you plan to make a change that affects the entire family table).
Regeneration
If the regenerate_read_only_objects configuration option is set to yes, the read-only objects are modified in the Creo session. After regeneration, the Creo application lists all the objects that were modified.
Actions you can take:
Continue.
Check out the entire family table when the object is generic (recommended if you plan to make a change that affects the entire family table).
If the regenerate_read_only_objects configuration option is set to no, the objects are not regenerated in Creo.
Actions you can take:
To update these objects, you must manually change their status in Pro/INTRALINK.
Save
The object you are trying to save has a read-only status or the object has the implied application behavior or error.
Actions you can take:
Skip this object.
The object you are attempting to save has a Modify with Warning status or the object has the implied application behavior or error.
Actions you can take:
Continue
Check out the entire family table when the object is generic (recommended if you plan to make a change that affects the entire family table).
The object that you are trying to save is a new and undesignated instance that was never verified (regenerated).
