About Locales
A locale includes the characteristics of the user environment that are dependent on language, country, and cultural conventions. The locale determines conventions for sort order, keyboard layout, date, time, number, currency formats, and the default encoding Creo applications use for character conversion functions. Creo applications only support the period as a decimal separator regardless of the locale.
You can find a comprehensive list of locales in <load point>\<Creo Release Number>\<datecode>\Common Files\text\pro_18in.res in the installation directory for your Creo application. This list includes locale names for languages, such as Hebrew and Hungarian, for which only character support exists.
