To Solidify a Quilt
1. Click the arrow next to Home > Solidify and select either Solid or Cut from the Templates gallery to define the configuration.
2. To add or remove material from the solid, select a quilt or a surface on a solid. An Options Toolbar appears. Expand the Options Toolbar to open a Floating Dashboard. A directional arrow indicates the material side for the solidify operation. The selected quilt or the surface appears in the Solidify panel.
The default selection creates a solid volume or removes material depending on the configuration selected in step 1.
3. Choose Add or Remove in the Material handling panel to respectively add or remove material to the quilt.
4. To flip the solidified side, click Flip in the Material side panel.
