About Patterning
Patterning creates multiple instances of selected geometry instead of creating geometry repetitively. You can add pattern members in one or two selected directions. You can select body surfaces or geometry for patterning using manual and shape selection methods. The patterned body surfaces are associated with the geometry of the source body. The selected geometry can be patterned and can remain attached to nonpatterned geometry thus recreating rounds and chamfers at the attachment point if required. You can pattern bodies in a part. The patterned body surfaces are associated with the geometry of the source body.
