Create a 3D curve from a 2D curve
The 3D Curve By 2D Crvs function enables you to define a 3D curve that projects to two 2D curves along the normals of their workplanes. You simply select the two 2D curves, and Creo Elements/Direct Modeling creates a 3D curve whose projections along the workplanes' normals are part of the 2D curves.
To create a 3D curve by projecting 2D curves,
1. Click 3D Geometry and then, in the 3D Curve group, click More next to Spline 3D.
2. Click Curve by 2D Cvs in the Indirect section. The By 2D Crvs dialog box opens
3. Type a name for Part.
4. Click two 2D curves on different workplanes.
5. Click to complete the operation.
