Draw detail borders
When you create a detail view, you can use one of the border type options in the Detail View dialog box to draw the detail border. You can draw a circle, rectangle, polygon, or a closed splinar region.
To draw a detail border,
1. Click Annotation and then, in the Setup group, click the arrow next to Dep View.
2. Click Create Detail View. The Detail View dialog box opens.
3. Click one of the border types in the Create Border section:
Circle (selected by default)
4. Click the first point of the border.
5. Complete the border:
For rectangles and circles: click the other point to define the border.
For polygons and splines, continue clicking points as required. When you are finished, click Accept.
You can click Back to undo the last specified point of the detail border.
To avoid problems, define borders as shown in the image in blue. Avoid following part borders (shown in red).
