Convert a sketch to a frame
Occasionally a sheet frame is not recognized as a frame after importing an MI file. It then becomes a sketch, but you can later convert it back to a frame.
*
When you convert a sketch to a frame, the frame of the active sheet is automatically converted to a sketch.
To convert a sketch to a frame,
1. Click Migration Tools and then, in the Convert Objects group, click Sketch. The Sketch to Frame dialog box opens.
2. Specify the sketch to convert in one of the following ways:
Select the sketch from the Drawing Browser.
Click the sketch in the Creo Elements/Direct Annotation Viewport.
Enter the path and name of the sketch in the Sketch box.
3. If necessary, click Continue in the warning box.
4. Click to complete the operation.
Creo Elements/Direct Annotation converts the sketch to a frame, which becomes the frame of the active sheet.
