You can save a frame that you have created in Creo Elements/Direct Annotation. Frames are saved as pure MI files, equivalent to Creo Elements/Direct Drafting's file format.
A frame is saved by specifying its sheet in the file browser, which automatically selects the active sheet's frame when you select Frame from the File Type cascade list in the Save file browser. Specify a different sheet whose frame you want to save in one of the following ways:
• Select the sheet from the Drawing Browser.
• Enter the number of the sheet in the user input line within double quotes ("").
Before you can use a saved frame in a new or existing sheet, you need to register it.
