Docuplane/Free:
Specify if the tolerance symbol should be attached to a docuplane (and specify that docuplane), or if it should be free.
Zone Shape:
Specify the shape of the tolerance zone for either spherical or cylindrical faces.
Zone Size:
Enter a numeric value to represent the size of the tolerance zone. For composite tolerances, the hierarchy of tolerances may limit the size of this value. The measurement units for this option are the default units of the current session.
Zone Dir:
Enter a zone direction. When specifying a tolerance on a cylindrical feature, the tolerance is (by default) a diametrical tolerance (equal all around the axis). However, you can also select the default option and specify a different direction for the tolerance.
Zone Dir Set:
Toggle between a supplied zone direction and a diametrical tolerance.
Modifiers:
Specify a material modifier symbol if appropriate. The available options include symbols for maximum material conditions (MMC) and least material conditions (LMC). This option is only available when conditions allow its specification.
Max Dev:
Specify the maximum permitted bonus tolerance. This sets a constraint on the bonus tolerance available from the use of Zero Tolerance at LMC or MMC.
Name
Specify a new name for the tolerance.
Descr
Enter a description for the tolerance. This description is displayed in HTML reports and in the Structure Browser widget tips.
Additional Modifiers:
Specify a tangent plane symbol, or a free state condition. When defining a free state condition, you are prompted to enter a text note to describe the application of this modifier.
Projected Zone:
Specify a numeric value for the distance of the projected zone in the units of the current session. The direction of the zone is defined by the most primary datum on the datum reference that also geometrically intersects the toleranced face(s).
Identifiers:
Associate a dimension-critical symbol with a tolerance to show that a dimensional characteristic of a part or assembly is critical to the fit, performance, or integrity of the product.
Process critical symbol: Identifies a design specification that correlates to a key manufacturing process control signal which requires statistical process control (SPC) and monitoring throughout production. The symbol is placed after the stated tolerance.
Insp Notes:
Opens an editor into which you can enter free text notes concerning the inspection of the part. These notes are not displayed in the tolerancing symbol.
Composite:
Specify either normal (one-line) or composite (two-line) type of tolerance symbol. For composite tolerances, the hierarchy of tolerances may limit the zone size.
Unit Length/Area:
Specify the unit rate of change.
Primary:
Specify the required datum by clicking it directly in the viewport or selecting it from the Structure Browser. If secondary and tertiary datums are not required, click Accept.
Modifier:
Specify a modifier for the selected datum if appropriate.
Secondary:
Specify a secondary datum as before. If a tertiary datum is not required, click Accept.
Tertiary:
Specify the tertiary datum in the same way as the other datums.
Superfix:
Type text to be displayed above the FCF. This function is not often used.
Subfix:
Type text to be displayed below the FCF. This location is often used for the symbols Between and All Around.
