Benefits and Description
To instruct a selected manikin to look at a target on an object in the scene use the Look At command. You do not have to manually amend the head posture of the manikin to simulate a look at activity. The Look At functionality supports:
- An intuitive process: Select Look At, Select the manikin to look at, Select target for the Look At activity.
- Creating a constraint to save in a snapshot
- Head movement and Eye movement (if head is locked or constrained in position)
- Fine-tuning final posture with post-Look At manipulation
The Manikin Look At command provides a process for creating a posture that simulates the change in head posture and eye position when the manikin is required to look at an object in the scene. Looking at certain facets of a product is a common and often repeated scenario, that you can easily replicate. Used in conjunction with the Manikin Vision Window, Look At functionality is integral in efficiently analyzing visual components of a design.
