Benefits and Description
To provide more control to the NC programmer over the resulting toolpath for 5-Axis surface machining, there are new advanced NC parameters:
- Minimum and maximum Discretization steps to control the distance between computed points on the toolpath.
- Minimum and maximum Discretization angle to control the angular variation between computed points on the toolpath
- Option to skip first and last, or first or last, passes on surface machining. This avoids machining a common boundary between adjoining surfaces two times.
- Option to control the step over for the tool, based on a number of passes.
