Benefits and Description
The dashboard for the Pattern tool provides easy access to all the information you need when creating or redefining toolpath feature duplication. Existing and new toolpath pattern functionality is available in the dashboard. You can do the following:
- Duplicate a toolpath by translating and rotating a copy of the feature toolpath using constant or variable intervals and CSYS references.
- Support a pattern table.
- Control pattern order including shortest distance, and include or exclude an individual pattern member.
- Locally modify a toolpath duplicate such as a retract offset to avoid a collision.
- Display each duplicate toolpath in the model tree as its own feature allowing individual simulation
The resulting toolpath includes all the motions of the different pattern members in a MULTAX format if required.
