Benefits and Description

When placing a component, you can investigate placement options by dragging it and seeing it snap to matching references. This is useful when pasting a component with predefined constraints. Snapping requires one or more constraints and the selection of the Active Snapping option.

You can now snap one constraint at a time or snap all constraints at the same time. Snapping one constraint at a time simplifies dragging and snapping by allowing you to progressively place the component. By unselecting the Snap to single constraint checkbox in the Drag Preference dialog box, you can snap all constraints at once. You can also change the drag preference using the configuration option snap_single_constraint.
