WinDU and WinRU Tasks for Promotion Requests
In PTC Windchill 10.2 M010, there is a new Windchill Diagnostic Utility (WinDU) task and a new Windchill Repair Utility (WinRU) task to identify any checked-out objects associated to a promotion request.

Benefits and Description
The WinDU task, Detect checked-out objects to be promoted, generates a report of any objects to be promoted that are checked out and associated to a promotion request.
The WinRU task, Convert working copies of active objects to be promoted, converts the references from the working copy to the original copy.
The new WinDU and WinRU tasks help keep data consistent between promotion request objects that are checked out and that are not checked out. This guarantees that the promotion request is related to the original copy. It also ensures that the reference to the working copy will not be lost when another user checks the promotion request in or performs an undo checkout action.
