Benefits and Description
The following enhancements are included in Relationship Explorer in PTC Windchill 10.2:
- Relationship Explorer provides better visibility to more objects in PTC Windchill, such as change objects and promotion requests.
- Relationship Explorer provides cross-systems visibility to objects and relationships residing in PTC Windchill and PTC Integrity, as well as the dependencies between objects residing in different systems. These objects include requirements, specifications, and test suite documents in PTC Windchill, which are mapped to their related objects residing in PTC Integrity.
- Users can configure the list of PTC Integrity objects and relationship types, fields, type icon images, and the RGB codes of the box outline. Users can also edit the XML file to control the order and layout of information shown in the box object and in the mini-information page, which can be viewed from the Relationship Explorer. For instance, user-configured types can be added on top of the PTC Integrity out-of-the-box settings.
Note: This type of configuration is currently available only for content originating in PTC Integrity.
