Benefits and Description

You can model parts containing ball and bearing joints to match physical reality more closely. When modeling such joints you can select an axis on both sides of the joint. You can then use these axes in the definition of a cone angle in degrees through which the joint can rotate. Additionally, when the joint approaches this limit you can include a coefficient of restitution to model the stiffness of the hard stop for inclusion in dynamic analyses.
