Benefits and Description
The new Web Services Server implementation is integrated in the Model Manager services framework controlled by a common service controller. It is based on the proven, open source Jetty server that replaces the Sun AppServer. New and optimized Web Services improve search result filtering and support paged queries for improved performance. New custom Web Services can be easily programmed and deployed using standard Java technologies. Existing Web Services remain for compatibility. The installation process is unchanged.
