Benefits and Description
The following enhancements are applicable for PTC Windchill Requirements Management in PTC Windchill 10.1 M050:
- Several mandatory pre-installation, installation, and post-installation requirements have been added when upgrading or updating from a previous PTC Windchill installation. For more information, see “PTC Windchill Requirements Management or Windchill RequirementsLink—When Upgrading or Updating From a Previous Installation of PTC Windchill” in the PTC Windchill Help Center.
- A new preference allows users and administrators the ability to show or hide the Traceability tab for non-requirement objects. For more information, see “PTC Windchill Requirements Management—Traceability Tab Preference for Non-requirement Objects” in the PTC Windchill Help Center.
- Life Cycle State Mappings in PTC Integrity can be set up and managed in PTC Windchill to facilitate a more unified life cycle workflow for requirement objects in both applications. Integrity Life Cycle mappings can be created using the Adapters Administration utility in Windchill.
