Benefits and Description
The Windchill Workgroup Manager for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling uses the Windchill Workgroup Manager integration technology and workspace concept to manage essential Modeling data such as 3D models (parts, assemblies, containers), workplanes, workplane sets, 2D drawings, drawing frames and title blocks with text references showing database attributes.
It supports different model load types (structure, lightweight, full), manages library parts in the Windchill library context, and stores inseparable assemblies as single CAD documents.
WTParts can be auto-associated at check-in, and the product structure (BOM) in Windchill is derived from the CAD model structure.
Client-generated Creo View data supports enterprise visualization, resulting in interactive thumbnails and Creo View representations in Windchill that everyone in the enterprise can inspect with Creo View clients.
The Workgroup Manager can be used directly from the Modeling user interface for a seamless CAD data management experience.
The Windchill Workgroup Manager for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling works with Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 18.0 M010 and Windchill 10.0 M020.
