You can snap a curve to the intersection of 2 curves and then apply constraints to either intersection curve.

Benefits and Description
You can snap a curve to the intersection of two curves. When assigning a connection type you are prompted to identify the curve to which the connection is assigned. Curve connections can be defined irrespective of the order of curve creation.
