Benefits and Description
The Helical Sweep user interface is updated: Existing Helical Sweep options are included in the new design. The sweep profile can be an internal or external sketch, and the axis of revolution can be internal to the sweep profile sketch or an external reference. You can place pitch points by absolute value along the helix axis, by percentage, or by reference. When placing by reference, you can add an external reference on-the-fly through the standard pause and resume workflow. You can use the new Vary Section option to align elements of the swept section with references that vary along the sweep profile, so you can easily create variable section helical sweeps.
