Benefits and Description
Board outline and board cutout loops from the .BOARD_OUTLINE section of an IDF file create profiles in different workplanes to avoid manual rework of input files with overlapping loops.
With the new Collect Contours option in the IDF import dialog restriction profile loops of same type with matching height and side specifications can be optionally consolidated into one workplane. This results in a much more compact workplane structure that is easier to navigate when modifications are required.
