Configuring the Arbortext 6.0 Environment

This course is designed to familiarize you with the design modules of Arbortext Editor that enable you to create, configure, publish, and maintain document types. You learn about user interface configuration, the DCF file, document type preferences, and Arbortext Publishing Engine. After completing this course, you will learn how to modify the appearance and behavior of elements from a DCF file. You will also create template and sample files. You will learn how to install a document type, and configure aliases. You will create dialog boxes using the XUI Editor. You will configure and assign profiles. You will learn how to install, configure, and use Arbortext Publishing Engine to compose documents for publishing. After successfully completing this course you will be prepared to configure, install and maintain an Arbortext application. You will be prepared to install, configure, and maintain Arbortext Publishing Engine. At the end of each module, you will complete a skills assessment.
